Unexplained water use traced to washroom fittings
The meter showed continuous consumption. Testing found a faulty urinal flush control and dripping fixtures, with no concealed pipe leak indicated.

The building had bar supplies, ice machines and multiple toilets. The meter registered about 2.5 litres a minute.
Leak detection methods used
Acoustic readings directed attention to the gents’ toilets. Supplies were isolated in stages, followed by a pressure test.

Leak repairs and next steps
The isolated pipework held 3 bar for 45 minutes. ADI recommended repairs to the flush control and leaking fixtures; the case does not record those repairs as completed.
