Privacy and cookies

This page explains what this website does with your information (very little) and what ADI Leak Detection does with your details when you get in touch. Last updated 15 September 2026.

Who is responsible

This website, commercialleakdetection.co.uk, is operated by ADI Leak Solutions Ltd, trading as ADI Leak Detection, company number 15870765, registered in England and Wales. Commercial Leak Detection is a specialist service from ADI Leak Detection, and ADI is the data controller for any information you give it. You can contact ADI about privacy by phone on 0333 567 2629, or by post at ADI Leak Detection, Suite 407, Access Business Center, Handy Cross Roundabout, High Wycombe HP11 1UP.

What this website collects

This site has no enquiry form, no account and no chat widget. It sets no cookies of its own and does not use analytics, advertising pixels or embedded third-party content. The fonts and images are served from this site rather than from another company's servers, so visiting a page does not send a request to anyone else.

When you visit, the server that delivers the pages records the standard technical details every web server records (your IP address, the time and the page requested) in its logs, for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are not used to identify you or build a profile.

Because this site stores nothing on your device that needs your consent, there is no cookie banner. If that changes, this page and the site will change with it.

Links to other websites

This site links to ADI Leak Detection's profile on Trustpilot. Trustpilot is a separate company with its own privacy policy and cookies, which apply once you follow the link.

When you call ADI

To give you a quote and book an appointment, ADI needs certain details from you. In most cases that is your name or your company's name, the address of the building, a billing or postal address, a telephone number, an email address, the name and number of the on-site contact, and payment card details when a booking is confirmed. Where a booking is made by one organisation on behalf of another (a managing agent for an owner, for example), ADI prefers to take payment details directly from the party paying.

ADI uses this information to provide the service, to send you the report and invoice, to communicate with you and your on-site contacts during the job, to answer your questions afterwards, to identify buildings it has worked at before, and to take payment. It does not sell or trade your information and does not use it for unsolicited marketing.

ADI may share details in a small number of cases: with other tradespeople who can help resolve your leak, with your permission; with your insurer, at the insurer's request, to explain the work carried out or its cost; with its payment provider, to process a payment; where it is necessary to comply with the law or to deal with a legal claim; and in the event of an accident or incident on site.

Calls to ADI's office numbers, including the number on this site, are recorded for quality and training purposes.

How long ADI keeps information

ADI keeps information for as long as it is needed to provide the service. Because leak investigations at the same building often need to be cross-referenced years later, customer names, addresses and the corresponding reports may be kept on file for a number of years unless you ask for them to be deleted. Information is held in ADI's password-protected company database on a secure server and is not printed unless you ask for a report or invoice by post.

Your rights

You can ask ADI for a copy of the personal information it holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted except where it is needed to deal with a legal claim. Deleting information may mean ADI cannot provide, or has to suspend, its service to you. To exercise any of these rights, contact ADI using the details above. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

ADI's full privacy statement

The full ADI Leak Solutions Ltd privacy statement, which covers ADI's other websites and services, is available from the office on request by phone before you book. Where the two differ, the full statement applies to the service you receive from ADI.
